Client patches are ACCOUNT specific, not the "physical install", so the data goes to the account data folder ( %appdata%\ccp\... or something like that anyway )

The new behaviour of the shortcut modifier keys is a direct nerf to dualboxing since if you keep for example a CTRL key pressed to lock targets, IT DOES NOT RELEASE window focus. Unintedend or not, it's an annoying nerf and hindrance.
